Account deletion

Effective

How to request deletion

In PackMagic, open Profile, choose Delete account, review the outstanding cards, shipments, and purchased credit shown, then confirm Delete account. This starts closure for the signed-in live account and signs you out after the request is accepted. If you cannot access that account, email support@packmagic.app with the subject Account deletion and the associated phone number or verified email address. Do not send a password, payment-card number, or sign-in code.

An in-app request should be sufficient to start the process. Email is an alternative for access problems and questions, not an additional required step for everyone. We may ask for proportionate information to verify an email request or clarify how you want an outstanding asset handled.

What happens after a request

Confirmation stops new activity and preserves outstanding cards, shipments, monetary claims, and necessary verified settlement contact before removing sign-in access. If sign-in removal cannot complete immediately, it is retried separately; the preserved claims do not depend on keeping your account open. Staff handle outstanding delivery, refund, privacy, and dispute work after closure.

Our target is to remove sign-in access and unrelated personal data within 30 calendar days after a verified deletion request. Outstanding cards, refunds, and necessary claim records can remain protected separately while they are resolved. A shorter legal deadline takes precedence; any extension must follow applicable law. We communicate progress and confirm completion. This target is not an automatic card-claim expiry or a promise that every provider record is erased immediately.

A remaining balance, unresolved report, or staff backlog must not justify retaining an entire account indefinitely. Where a specific claim remains open, we preserve the necessary claim records and verified settlement contact separately from your public identity and remove unrelated personal information. Delivery details remain only where needed for unfinished shipments or remedies.

Your cards and remaining balance

Deletion does not authorize confiscation, resale, donation, exchange, or forfeiture of your cards or credit. No further purchase or play is required. Before irreversible settlement, we identify the assets and proposed treatment and obtain your instructions where required.

If you want outstanding cards delivered, we request a supported delivery address and show the applicable shipping quote before confirmation. No address is required merely to close or delete your account. Without a delivery address, the card claim remains pending separately from account access; you can arrange delivery through your verified settlement contact without reopening gameplay or making another purchase.

We keep records of outstanding cards after account closure until the card claims are fulfilled or otherwise lawfully resolved. Account closure does not automatically sell, exchange, donate or forfeit those cards. The 30-calendar-day account-deletion target is not a card-claim expiry date; no automatic forfeiture or record removal occurs merely because 30 days pass, an address is missing or you have not responded. Necessary transaction records after resolution follow their applicable retention requirements.

Retained card claims include the card identifiers and printing details, original opening receipts and express promises, necessary payment or shipment references, and the minimum verified contact needed for settlement. They are held in restricted records, separately from your public profile and sign-in access. We do not retain the entire account simply because a card claim is unresolved. A delivery instruction alone is not a paid shipment or proof of fulfillment.

If a particular card record cannot be preserved, we will explain which records would be removed before you confirm an irreversible step and explain your supported delivery and resolution options. A notice about removing data does not by itself cancel an unresolved card entitlement or establish your agreement to surrender it.

For unused purchased credit, we reconcile verified paid amounts against original orders, spending, prior refunds, and chargebacks and offer the refundable unused paid amount to the original payment method, subject to applicable rights. A combined balance alone does not establish a cash refund amount. Historical unattributed funding requires evidence-based review rather than an assumption that every Gem was purchased.

We charge no account-closure fee. A deletion request does not expire unused purchased credit. We reconcile unresolved balances in restricted settlement records while removing unrelated personal information. Settlement does not require another purchase, more play, or a public profile.

Promotional and exchange-derived credit are not automatically cash-redeemable. We explain the applicable treatment and trace paid consideration where established for a merchandise remedy. Voluntary surrender must be separate, itemized, and explicit. An owed card requires agreed fulfillment or another lawful resolution; deletion alone is not surrender consent. Mandatory and unclaimed-property rights take precedence.

Pending orders, shipments, and disputes

We reconcile pending checkout before assuming no payment occurred. A late successful payment remains an obligation even if account access has been removed. Completed openings keep their original outcome, while unused preparations may expire.

Ordinary shipments can be cancelled through the available process before a sourcer claims work on the parcel or dispatch is recorded. Cancellation returns the cards to your collection; any paid shipping-fee refund is handled separately through the original payment method, so the returned assets still need a settlement decision. Sourcing-failure, delay, and other legally required remedies remain separately available after that ordinary cutoff and during account closure.

Deleting an account does not automatically reverse a provider payment or end a legitimate dispute. We must explain any record retained for a specific obligation and must not use closure to impose unauthorized charges or duplicate recoveries.

What deletion removes

At completion, we remove sign-in access and unrelated username, profile, preference, and device information. Unnecessary delivery details and checkout links are removed or restricted as appropriate. Necessary active shipment or remedy addresses remain restricted to those obligations. Any retained content from an earlier version is assessed under the same criteria rather than treated as a current public profile. We retain only the records described below.

Other members' replies can retain a reference to a deleted message without restoring its original body. Screenshots or copies held outside PackMagic may remain. If an Apple authorization token is held, the deletion process attempts revocation before removing account access. A failed required provider or cleanup step must be resolved before we report completion.

What can remain and why

We may retain a private account reference and necessary financial ledgers, opening receipts, valuations, reward records, payment references, fulfillment facts, published game versions, and deletion or operator audit evidence. These records support outstanding assets, award verification, accounting, refunds, disputes, delivery evidence, and prevention of accidental account restoration. They are restricted records, not a restored account or public profile.

Some historical vault text, notes, or audit records can still contain personal information. Retained records are not automatically anonymous simply because a public profile has been removed. They require access restrictions, a documented retention reason, and deletion or de-identification when that reason ends.

Retained records are reviewed against their purpose, outstanding obligations, applicable recordkeeping duties, and any specific dispute or legal hold. We delete or de-identify them when the retention reason ends. A review date is not a promise of automatic erasure. Provider records and backups follow their own applicable duties and deletion cycles; we will not describe them as erased without evidence.

Completion, access, and appeals

Once deletion is complete, you will no longer be able to sign in to that account. We will provide a completion notice that explains any retained categories or unresolved claim. Save receipts you want to keep before losing access. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not submit a live-account deletion request.

If a request is delayed or denied, contact support@packmagic.app with the subject Privacy appeal. We will review the decision and explain the basis and any applicable appeal rights. This does not limit a complaint to a regulator or another right provided by law.

Demo data

Reset demo data in Profile settings to remove simulated cards, openings, and credit. It does not delete a live account, provider account, or live transaction records. Use account deletion for a live account.
