Operator and participation status
Brightwave Products Inc. operates PackMagic and is responsible for its games and rewards. Questions can be sent to support@usebrightwave.com. Apple is not a sponsor and is not involved in PackMagic games or promotions in any manner.
These rules describe Vaults, Wheel, and the ongoing rewards implemented in PackMagic. They do not announce a separate sweepstakes, raffle, or contest with an entry period or prize drawing. No eligibility territory or legal permission to operate a paid randomized game is established by these rules. Live prize play must remain unavailable until the operator publishes effective rules for approved locations.
Who may participate
Live participation is intended for United States collectors who are at least 18 years old, meet any higher local age requirement, satisfy the approved-location rules, and have eligible accounts in good standing. No states have yet been cleared by this review. Do not interpret access to an account, a demo, or these pages as eligibility.
Use your own account and accurate information. Do not use duplicate identities, automated claims, another person's verification, or location evasion. Published restrictions apply to promotional gems and free card awards as well as purchased gems. Support, records, and existing lawful claims must remain addressable when new prize actions are restricted.
What you review before an opening
The game displays its available outcomes, exact probabilities totaling 100%, each card's gem exchange offer, and the cost before confirmation. Review the version offered to you. A new version can have different cards, odds, and prices; it does not change a completed opening under an older version.
Odds use increments of one basis point, or 0.01 percentage point. Card availability can prevent an opening from being prepared or settled. PackMagic must not silently remove an outcome or change its weight after you have accepted that opening's disclosed version.
Vaults
Each completed Vault opening awards exactly one card entitlement. When multiple openings are selected, each completed opening has its own result and receipt. A partial interruption does not cancel results that have already settled. Packs with multiple cards per opening are not currently offered.
The displayed outcome table controls the probability of each result. A high-value card is never guaranteed unless its disclosed probability is 100%. Repeated openings can produce the same card and do not make a different result due. Reveal style and animation do not affect selection.
Wheel
For a live Wheel attempt, select an available target card and a supported target chance from 5% through 80%. The remaining probability belongs to the disclosed fallback Energy card. Both outcomes and their gem offers are included in the quoted price.
A completed spin awards the target or the fallback; missing the target does not mean that no card is recorded. The visual pointer does not determine the server's result. A practice spin spends no gems, creates no physical-card entitlement, and awards no XP.
Prices, values, and risk
The current pricing formula divides the probability-weighted gem offers by 0.85 and rounds the price up to a whole gem. For example, a table with an expected gem offer of 85 gems has a calculated price of 100 gems. Rounding can make the ratio of expected gem offers to price lower than 85%. The price displayed for the accepted version is the amount charged.
Expected gem value is a mathematical average over the disclosed outcomes, not a promise about your result or a cash payout percentage. An individual card's frozen exchange offer can be lower than the price you paid. Shipping charges are separate. Market-price estimates and potential outside resale proceeds are not guaranteed.
Purchased, promotional, and exchange-derived gems use the same disclosed odds for the same game version. Gems cannot be withdrawn for cash. Free rewards do not guarantee that a chosen vault or Wheel attempt will be affordable, nor do they guarantee a target result. Do not spend money you cannot afford to lose on repeated openings.
How a result is selected and verified
Before confirmation, PackMagic prepares a version and a commitment to a private random server seed and that version's outcome table. Your device supplies a fresh client seed. The server combines the seeds using HMAC-SHA-256 and selects an integer ticket from 0 through 9,999 using rejection sampling, then matches that ticket to the published weights.
The charge, card entitlement, and receipt settle together. The receipt reveals the seeds, commitment, version, outcome table, price, selected card, and frozen gem offer. The app checks receipt consistency and, when it has saved them, the original commitment and submitted client seed. Older interrupted records may lack the original commitment and show a verification limitation.
Verification can check that the receipt is consistent with its seeds and table. Comparison with the earlier saved commitment is also needed to verify that the same commitment was honored. These checks do not independently prove physical inventory, card authenticity, market value, regulatory approval, or that an operator with database access could never interfere. PackMagic does not claim an independent randomness certification.
Interruptions and errors
Closing the app or losing connectivity does not reroll a settled opening. Reconnect and allow the app to recover the original result. An unconfirmed or expired preparation is not a completed award. Keep the opening reference if you need help.
Report an incorrect debit, failed verification, or missing card to support. A verified technical error will be investigated using the original records. A low-value result, a repeated card, or dislike of a completed outcome is not by itself a technical error. Any correction must respect mandatory consumer rights and explain what happened to the charge and entitlement.
Introductory and daily rewards
When enabled, an eligible new account receives one signup voucher for a designated starter vault. It applies only to that offer, is not cash, and cannot be multiplied through repeat registrations. Review the starter vault's outcome table before using it.
An eligible account can open one free daily vault per UTC calendar day without making a purchase that day. Each vault awards one card to Collection. The rank when the opening starts sets the contents and odds shown before opening: Rookie at 0 XP, Scout at 250, Collector at 1,000, Specialist at 3,000, Master at 7,500, and Legend at 15,000. Earlier unlocked ranks do not create additional daily claims. A daily vault does not credit gems directly. The awarded card has a saved exchange offer, which adds gems only if the collector chooses to exchange it.
Each completed daily vault earns 20 XP and does not count toward game XP. The first five other completed Vault or live Wheel games each UTC day earn 50 XP each. Practice, purchases by themselves, exchanges, and chat rewards do not earn XP. A daily vault that raises your rank keeps its original contents and odds; the upgraded vault applies to the next day’s opening. Previously completed gem rewards remain credited. Ranks do not reset for missed days, and unclaimed daily rewards do not accumulate.
Chat Rain and gem drops
When enabled, chat can offer Rain and gem-drop events without a purchase requirement. Each event displays its gem pool, entry limit, opening and closing times, and claim state. Use those event-specific details; the schedule and budgets may change for future events. Already-created events keep their recorded values.
For Rain, join while entry is open. After it closes, eligible entrants claim the pool divided by the final number of entrants, rounded down to whole gems. Joining is not the same as collecting the award. Any claim deadline must be shown in the event. Unallocated rounding remainders and unclaimed amounts are not added to balances.
A gem drop pays the displayed amount to the first eligible accounts whose claims the server accepts, up to the displayed limit. Display or network latency can mean the places are filled before your request arrives. This is a first-accepted claim mechanism, not a random drawing.
The implemented hourly defaults are a 600-gem Rain pool with up to 100 entrants and a 500-gem drop split into five 100-gem claims, with entry during the first ten minutes of the UTC hour. These are defaults, not a promise of an event every hour. Missed hours do not create catch-up awards. An account can receive only the permitted award for an event, and retrying a request does not create a second credit.
Leaderboards and public activity
The card-value leaderboard totals the frozen gem value of awarded cards in settled games, including fallback cards. It does not measure profit or wallet balance. The XP leaderboard measures earned XP. Neither currently awards additional prizes. Weekly periods begin Monday at 00:00 UTC, and daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
Public profile settings determine participation in player pages, Top wins, and leaderboards. Turning off Public profile does not reduce a legitimate private account's earned rank or reward entitlement. Shared chat and event activity have separate visibility described in the privacy policy.
Receiving or exchanging a card
A live award goes into your collection. You can keep it there, accept its recorded gem exchange offer, or request physical delivery where available. An exchange gives up the selected card entitlement. Standard cards are sourced after confirmed withdrawal; stock-required graded or special cards reserve held inventory at settlement.
Shipping requires an accepted quote and may involve shipping charges and tax. Award value is not a promise of free shipping. Unavailable, incorrect, lost, or damaged cards and remaining assets at closure must be handled under the shipping, refunds, and deletion policies. We will not substitute a materially different card without your agreement.
Abuse, changes, and questions
We may pause a game or reward to investigate abuse, a technical defect, a supply problem, or a legal requirement. Restrictions on future participation do not automatically void valid settled awards. Any correction or disqualification must have a documented basis and remain subject to applicable rights. Contact support to request review.
Changes apply to future versions or events after disclosure. They do not silently alter completed receipts, earned balances, or accepted shipments. A new promotion with different eligibility, entry dates, award selection, or prizes requires its own complete terms before entry opens.
