Your agreement with PackMagic
Brightwave Products Inc. operates PackMagic. These terms are intended to govern the PackMagic app, website, accounts, collections, games, and community services once an effective version is adopted and presented to you for acceptance. The official rules, shipping and refunds policy, and community guidelines supplement these terms. The privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Contact support@usebrightwave.com with account, transaction, or terms questions. PackMagic is an independent service. Apple is not a sponsor of PackMagic promotions and is not involved in them. References to trading-card brands, grading companies, or marketplaces do not imply their sponsorship or endorsement.
Availability and eligibility
Prize-bearing features are intended only for adult United States collectors in locations approved for the complete PackMagic business model. You must be at least 18 years old, meet any higher age required by applicable law, and satisfy the published location rules and account checks before purchasing gems, opening for real card entitlements, claiming live rewards, or requesting physical delivery. A United States address, a successful sign-in, or the ability to download the app does not establish eligibility.
The minimum age is 18, or any higher age required by applicable law. No state is approved for prize play by this draft. Prize participation is not offered under these draft terms. Final eligibility rules must be published before activation. Do not misrepresent your age, identity, or location or use another person, an account, or a location-masking service to bypass a restriction.
Features can be unavailable because of inventory, maintenance, account review, provider availability, or local requirements. A restriction on new play does not by itself extinguish an existing card, refund, privacy, or other lawful claim.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information and keep the information needed for delivery and support current. Use an account you control. Do not sell, share, transfer, or impersonate accounts, or create duplicate accounts to obtain additional introductory or limited rewards. Keep passwords, devices, and verification codes secure. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized activity.
Account actions must be authorized by you. We will investigate reported unauthorized charges or access; these terms do not make you automatically liable for every action performed with compromised credentials. Sign-in providers may impose their own terms.
Demo mode
Demo mode uses simulated cards, balances, events, and outcomes saved on your device. Demo play does not charge money, create physical-card rights, or earn live rewards. Demo progress cannot be transferred into a live balance or collection. Resetting demo data removes the local simulation and does not delete a separate live account.
Gems and payments
Gems are account credits used for available PackMagic actions. The app's pricing reference is 100 gems to US $1. That reference is not a promise to redeem gems for cash. PackMagic does not provide cash withdrawals, peer-to-peer gem transfers, or a market for selling accounts or balances.
We distinguish purchased gems, promotional gems, and gems obtained by exchanging cards. A displayed combined balance does not mean every gem was purchased or carries the same refund rights. Review the bundle, dollar charge, gem amount, and applicable taxes before authorizing checkout. Only use a payment method you are authorized to use.
A return from a checkout page does not by itself confirm payment. Gems are credited after the payment provider confirms payment to PackMagic. Pending payments can be recovered through the wallet. Do not begin a second purchase just because a first payment is still pending.
Refunds and payment reversals can remove corresponding gem credits. If credited gems have already been spent, an unresolved shortfall may restrict new prize actions while we review it. We will not charge a new payment method without authorization. These terms do not limit payment-dispute or refund rights provided by law.
Randomized openings and Wheel
A completed Vault opening awards one card entitlement from the disclosed outcome table. Wheel awards either the chosen target or the disclosed fallback card. Before confirming, review all outcomes, exact probabilities, gem offers, and the total cost. An awarded card can have a lower gem offer than the amount spent. Repeated play does not guarantee a target card, recovery of spending, or profit.
The result is settled before its reveal animation. Reveal style, animation timing, a skipped animation, and an interrupted connection do not change a settled result. Recovery returns the original settled transaction rather than creating another draw. The official rules explain verification and the limits of verification.
The opportunity to receive free rewards does not change the odds of a particular published game. It also does not establish a legal classification for paid randomized features. Only approved features and locations may be activated.
Card entitlements and exchange offers
A standard-card award records an entitlement to the card described in the opening receipt. Standard cards are generally sourced after you confirm physical withdrawal; a standard-card image is a catalog reference and does not mean an individual physical copy has already been set aside for you. Stock-required graded or special cards reserve a held unit when the opening settles.
The card description, including its edition, language, condition, and any stated grade, governs the entitlement. A catalog photograph is not a promise about a particular copy's centering or an unstated future grade. We must address an unavailable or materially mismatched card under the shipping and refunds policy.
The gem exchange offer is frozen when the opening settles. A later market-price estimate does not change that offer. An exchange gives up the selected card entitlement in return for the confirmed number of gems. Review your selection before confirming. A completed authorized exchange is ordinarily final, subject to errors and mandatory legal remedies. Locked or reserved shipping cards cannot be exchanged until the relevant restriction is resolved.
Market estimates can change and may differ from actual resale prices. Cards and gems are not offered as investments. PackMagic does not guarantee an outside buyer, resale value, appreciation, or cash return.
Delivery and refunds
Physical delivery requires an eligible address, available service, an accepted quote, and confirmation of the displayed shipping and tax charges. Keeping a card in your collection does not automatically request delivery. A shipping quote alone does not start procurement.
Shipping cancellation, delays, unavailable cards, damaged or incorrect deliveries, and payment refunds are addressed in the shipping and refunds policy. A limitation in the app's self-service cancellation control does not remove a cancellation or refund right required by law. We do not require you to accept gem credit in place of a monetary refund where the law requires money.
Rewards and community vaults
Introductory, daily, and chat rewards are subject to the disclosed eligibility, timing, claim limits, and event terms. They cannot be multiplied by duplicate accounts, bots, or false claims. Future reward amounts may change with advance disclosure; completed awards and settled receipts will not be silently rewritten. Rank and leaderboard placement do not currently award separate prizes.
Workshop creators can propose and publish vaults through the available controls, subject to review and availability. Published versions preserve their disclosed outcomes and odds. Creators do not receive commissions under the current model and cannot privately promise different results, shipping terms, or payouts on PackMagic's behalf.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain rights you have in your original profile text, messages, and vault descriptions. You grant Brightwave a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, format, distribute within the service, and moderate that content as needed to operate PackMagic. This permission does not transfer ownership and does not authorize unrelated advertising use of your identity. After removal, limited copies may remain where necessary for existing replies, transaction evidence, backups, or legal obligations described in the privacy policy.
Only submit content you are entitled to use. Do not post threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, private information about another person, scams, impersonation, or infringing material. Do not automate limited reward claims, manipulate outcomes, evade moderation, disrupt the service, probe accounts you do not control, or exploit an error to take assets. Responsible reports of suspected defects can be sent to support.
We may filter or remove content and restrict accounts for a reasonable security, legal, or community reason. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to request review. Automated filtering can miss context or make mistakes. The community guidelines explain reporting and appeals.
Our software and third-party services
Brightwave and its licensors retain their rights in PackMagic's software, original artwork, and branding. You may use the service for its intended personal purposes subject to these terms and any applicable app-store license. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party card artwork or marks or restrict rights that the law gives you independently.
Third-party sign-in, payment, media, app-store, and carrier services have their own terms. We remain responsible for our obligations to you. An outage or a provider's action does not automatically eliminate an earned card entitlement or a refund owed by PackMagic.
Suspension, closure, and deletion
You can request deletion from Profile settings. A request stops new prize actions while we review the account. It does not authorize forfeiture of gems or cards, erase an unresolved refund, or require more purchases or gameplay. We must resolve or appropriately preserve existing obligations and handle personal information under the account deletion policy.
We may suspend or close an account for a material breach, suspected fraud, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. A restriction must not be used to avoid a lawful refund or fulfillment obligation. Contact support to dispute a restriction or arrange resolution of remaining assets. We do not claim that inactivity alone gives us ownership of your cards or purchased balance.
Errors, service limits, and responsibility
We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free market estimates, or success in obtaining a desired random outcome. Report a suspected pricing, payment, card, or receipt error with its reference so we can investigate. We will correct substantiated errors and preserve the evidence needed to explain the correction. We will not change a settled outcome merely because it is expensive for us or unfavorable to you.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not make additional implied warranties about the software's availability or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not disclaim the card description, an accepted fulfillment commitment, an express promise we make, or a warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible to the other for speculative lost profits or indirect losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated. This provision does not limit responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, obligations to account for cards or funds, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. No aggregate monetary liability cap is imposed by this draft.
Disputes and legal rights
Please contact support with the relevant reference and requested resolution so we can try to resolve a dispute. Contacting us is not a condition that prevents you from using a regulator, payment dispute process, or competent court, or from meeting a legal filing deadline.
Applicable law determines the competent courts and your mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, a shortened limitation period, or a chosen state's law. If an effective version later proposes such a change, it must be separately reviewed and clearly disclosed before acceptance. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
An effective version will state its effective date and be presented for acceptance where required. We will give appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter a settled opening's odds, frozen exchange offer, accepted shipment, or accrued legal right. Where consent is required, we will obtain it rather than treating the mere posting of new text as consent.
